Yeast infections can be painful and make you feel dirty. Getting rid of it can be a hassle if you don't know what you're doing. So, what I'm going to do is share with you some homemade remedies for a yeast infection that will help get rid of your yeast infection easily and safely.

The homemade remedies for a yeast infection are:
  1. Yogurt. Plain yogurt with active cultures have been very effective for women and is a traditional homemade remedy for a yeast infection. To use yogurt effectively, you can apply it to a tampon before inserting it into your vagina. You should do this twice a day. Do it once in the morning and again at night until the symptoms go away. Another highly effective way is to insert the yogurt into the vagina using a spoon. Also, regularly douching with yogurt have been proven effective for getting rid of a yeast infection. Along with inserting yogurt into your vagina, you should also eat plenty of yogurt for added help in getting rid of your infection.
  2. Tea tree oil is another homemade remedy for a yeast infection. It's well known for its natural antifungal effect and works very fast at curing infections. To use it effectively, you can put a few drops of it on a tampon. And then insert the tampon into your vagina. You should do this twice aday as well. Once in the morning and once at night. Doing this for a few days should get rid of the yeast infection. You could also mix the tea tree oil with sweet almond oil or olive oil. However, if you're pregnant, you should consult with a physician first.
  3. Another highly effective homemade remedy for a yeast infection is garlic. You can apply garlic paste (you may have to crush some garlic cloves to make the paste yourself) to the skin around your vagina. It might burn a little bit, however it's very effective. It's so effective that it can be used to treat other parts of your body that has a yeast infection.
You can also use the garlic with a cheesecloth. What you should do is wrap the garlic with the cheesecloth and insert it inside your vagina. Tie a string to it so that it'll be easy for you to pull the cloth out after you've had it in your vagina for about 20 minutes.
